Where to watch Canada vs Nicaragua: TV channel, live streams, time & more for FIBA AmeriCup 2025 game | Sporting News Canada

Team Canada begins its quest to qualify for the FIBA AmeriCup 2025 by hosting Nicaragua on Friday evening.

The Canadians have qualified for all 19 FIBA AmeriCups. Most recently, they earned a fourth-place finish in the 2022 tournament.

This year’s roster returns several familiar faces from 2022, including Kalif Young, Aaron Best and Abu Kigab. The roster is headlined by former Gonzaga standout Kyle Wiltjer, who dazzled during the qualifiers at the last FIBA AmeriCup.

Nicaragua, meanwhile, will automatically advance to the FIBA AmeriCup 2025, by its status as a host nation. Still, it will surely look to enter the field on the right foot, a journey that begins against the Canadians.
