Kids News talks to Team Canada basketball players

Dunking for the first time is a milestone many elite basketball players remember well.

You might see it all the time in NBA games, but it is no small feat to slam a ball through a net 10 feet (about three metres) above the ground.

Kids News also asked kids across Canada to come up with names for their own original dunks.

We took those fun and creative names to Canada’s Olympic basketball teams and asked them to recreate them.
