Kids News talks to Team Canada basketball players
Dunking for the first time is a milestone many elite basketball players remember well.
You might see it all the time in NBA games, but it is no small feat to slam a ball through a net 10 feet (about three metres) above the ground.
Like most people, Kids News contributor Arjun Ram has never dunked, so he did the next best thing — he met with members of Canada’s men’s Olympic basketball team to ask them about the first time they slammed the basketball.

Kids News also asked kids across Canada to come up with names for their own original dunks.
We took those fun and creative names to Canada’s Olympic basketball teams and asked them to recreate them.
