Vicious brawl erupts on a Canadian golf course after one group allegedly continued hitting their balls at the other

A fight between two groups of golfers broke out after one pairing apparently continued hitting their balls at the other.

This happened last Saturday at the Riverway Golf Course in the western Canadian province of British Columbia.

Video shot of the scene appears to start out with two players laying on the ground – surrounded by six others who are standing.

The lull in the action was disrupted when one man, who looked like he was tending to an injured woman, started the melee back up by landing a swift kick to the head of another person.

It was such a hard kick that the attacker was knocked off his feet and fell down – allowing for retaliation from the victim and his friend.

Several more punches and kicks were thrown as one man who laid on the ground was rolled over.

Out shouted one man, ‘F***ing stop’ before immediately asking ‘Are you guys r******d.’

Per Burnaby, BC police (via the New York Post), the scrap broke out at around 10:40am local time because ‘one group of golfers had allegedly almost hit the other group with their ball on several occasions.’

One woman sustained minor injuries when she was pushed to the ground, an RCMP representative also told the Post.

When police arrived at the scene, they separated the two groups and both were escorted off the grounds.

Investigators are now examining evidence and witness statements to determine if charges will be filed or not.
