Okanagan Sun set sights on Canadian junior football title

The Sun went 10-0 during the BC Football Conference to earn a berth in the semi-final

The Okanagan Sun capped off a perfect season by winning the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) National Semi-Final 28-14 over the Regina Thunder on Sunday, Oct. 27. 

A two-yard touchdown run by receiver Jacob Bond and an interception and 74-yard return by defensive back David Lewis 

put the Sun up 14-0 in the first quarter. The Thunder came back to tie the game 14-14 by the half.

Elelyon Noa, who took player-of-the-game honours, rushed for 84 yards on 18 carries and had a 17-yard touchdown. Kicker Liam Attwood nailed two converts and two field goals.
