The 35-year-old from Winnipeg, after nearly a year of no wins last month, grabbed the WM Phoenix Open Cup for his fourth PGA Tour victory. And now, at the 50th PLAYERS Championship, Taylor is possibly on his way to doubling his wins in the 2024 season.
The Canadian pro is only one stroke away from the leaders (tied at first) and is undoubtedly in contention for the title over the next three rounds. And with his fully stocked TaylorMade and Titleist bag, he may just grab the win at the TPC Scottsdale on Sunday!

Taylor’s bag is filled with clubs from just the two major brands of equipment: TaylorMade and Titleist, with the latter’s clubs dominating. When exploring Taylor’s bag, the first thing that catches the eye is the Titleist TSi3 Driver. The club was released back in 2021 and, interestingly, has been a part of his bag since. He uses it with a 10-degree loft and the Fujikura Atmos Blue Tour Spec 6 X shaft. The driver retails for $549.
For greater control on the fairways, Taylor has a 3-wood, 5-wood, and 4-wood hybrid in his bag. The 3-wood is the Titleist TSi2 with Fujikura Atmos Blue Tour Spec 6 X and 15 degrees of loft. Sold for $299, this club offers high speed with low CG, providing better control. On the other hand, the 5-wood is by TaylorMade.
He also uses the TaylorMade SIM2 Max with an 18-degree loft and the Mitsubishi Tensei AV 85 TX. In 2021, the SIM2 was launched with a weight distribution in the head, which allowed for better forgiveness and optimum launch. This 5-wood retails for $299. For his hybrid, Taylor returns to Titlesit, using the Titleist TSR2 with a 20-degree loft and the Graphite Design Tour AD DI 95 X shaft. Renowned as fast and forgiving, the club sells for $299.
To find his way onto the green, the 4-time PGA Tour winner has the Titleist T200 (4-iron) and Titleist T100 (5-9) with Temper Dynamic Gold S400. The T200 has a refined dual cavity for a solid impact and enhanced feel. Whereas the T100 has a similar hollow body with a forged face. Both iron sets retail for $200 each.

For wedges, Taylor uses two different types. The first is the Titleist Vokey Design SM10 (46-10F, 54-14F), and the second is theTitleist Vokey Design WedgeWorks (58-T). He equips these with the True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shaft. There are various grooves on the SM10 to provide maximum spin, and it is one of the best for short-game skills. It sells for $189 per club. The T-grind wedge works best for firm soil conditions or when the ball is stuck in a bunker with less sand. Its retail price is $225.
The putter has always been the most important club in any golfer’s bag. Even for Taylor, it has helped him to shoot six birdies and no bogeys in round one at the PLAYERS Championship. For this incredible performance, the Canadian is using the TaylorMade Spider Tour Red with SuperStroke Zenergy Pistol 1.0 grip. The putter sells for $219. For his accessories, the PGA Tour star has an extra Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip in his bag, and for his ball turns, the Titleist Pro V1x.
