The Canadian Football League returns to action on Thursday, August 22nd when Week 12 of the regular season starts with the Saskatchewan Roughriders visiting the Toronto Argonauts. Calgary has 1 win1, 1 loss for 2 points…tied for 3rd place. The Hilltops’ next home game is Sunday, September 15th against Winnipeg. Kickoff time is 1 p.m. at Saskatoon Minor Football Field.

The University of Saskatchewan Huskies Football team continues training camp this week at Griffiths Stadium in preparation for the 2024 Canada West Season. The Huskies host the University of Alberta Golden Bears on Thursday, August 22nd at Griffiths Stadium for their only exhibition game, with kickoff at 7 p.m. Saskatchewan begins the regular season on the road on Saturday, August 31st against the Manitoba Bisons, with kickoff at 1 p.m. The Huskies first home game is on Friday, September 13th when they host the Calgary Dinos with kickoff at 7 p.m. from Griffiths Stadium.
