Meet the 22 Canadian Creatives on the 2024 CAFA NewGen List
Today, the Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards (CAFA) revealed its third annual NewGen list of emerging creatives shaping the Canadian fashion and arts landscape. Featuring incredible up and coming photographers, creative directors, stylists, makeup artists and more, it’s proof that the next wave of Canadian creatives is bursting with talent and artistic energy.
This year, CAFA presents the NewGen list in partnership with LaSalle College. “LaSalle College Montréal is a proud Canadian company forming the next generation of fashion designers, fashion marketers and fashion artists who shine here and abroad,” says Andrew McNally, the college’s dean of fashion. “It was fitting for us to stand behind the NewGen category as it ties in directly with the support we offer our alumni and our numerous collaborations with other creatives. May these emerging talents be yet another source of pride and celebration for our industry.”
The 22 creatives will be honoured this year at the annual CAFA awards on October 19th at the Fairmont Royal York. As we count down the days to the big gala, meet the 2024 CAFA NewGen recipients below:
