Kids Fly Free with BermudAir – Canadian Travel News

BermudAir, Bermuda’s boutique airline, today launched a promotion that makes travel to Bermuda even more affordable for families.

Under the airline’s first Kids Fly Free promotion, which invites travellers to enjoy the island family-style, there will be no base fare charged for children aged 12 years and under. The promotion applies to bookings made between July 17th and 26th 2024 and allows for one eligible free child seat per full fare adult.

“We’re delighted to launch our first ever promotion for families with young children to enjoy the BermudAir experience and Bermuda,” said Adam Scott, Founder and CEO of BermudAir. “This promotion adds another attractive element to the value and convenience of traveling with us. We’re looking forward to welcoming even more families on board.”

The qualifying travel period is between September 12th and December 12th 2024, some blackout dates apply. Mandatory taxes and fees will still apply on bookings for eligible children.

The promotion also applies to BermudAir Holidays’ air and hotel packages.

“This allows us to offer Kids Fly and Stay Free deals too, and our hotel partners with BermudAir Holidays are thrilled to extend our exclusive collaboration in this manner,” said Leslie Peden, BermudAir’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Distribution.

“This limited time offer and exclusive family product opens up new sales opportunities for travel advisors, highlighting BermudAir’s dedication to partnering with them,” Mr. Peden added. “It’s an excellent way for advisors to collaborate with us and our hotel partners, offering more choices for their clients traveling with children.”

The same booking window and travel dates apply for the air and hotel package promotion.  Hotels participating in the BermudAir Holidays Kids Fly & Stay Free promotion include Rosewood Bermuda, Cambridge Beaches, The Loren, The Reefs, Pompano Beach, Newstead Belmont Hills and Royal Palms, Hamilton Princess Hotel and Beach Club, St. Regis Bermuda and Grotto Bay Resort.

“This is the first time we’re conducting a co-promotion at this level, so it’s another significant milestone in the relationships we want to build with industry partners,” Mr. Scott said. “We appreciate the work and support that has gone into making this available for our collective markets.”
