Former Whitehouse WR Jake Parker stepping down from CFL
WHITEHOUSE, Texas (KTRE) – Former Whitehouse star receiver Jake Parker announcing today that after another season ending injury he has decided to walk away from football, as he has been playing professionally in the Canadian Football League. Parker, an All America wide receiver who once caught passes from his friend Patrick Mahomes said on Instagram today.
“This is just the harsh reality of the sport sometimes, but football changed my life for the better in so many ways. Going to miss the grind and putting on the pads and going to war with my teammates. Whatever the future holds, I still believe the best is yet to come.”
