The Canadian Women’s basketball team will begin their fourth consecutive Olympics quest when they face off against the host nation France in game one of the group phase on Monday.
Canada was stumped by Spain 68-48 in their final tune-up contest before the Olympics. Kayla Alexander led the way for Canada with 10 points and Aaliyah Edwards chipped in with eight points and 14 rebounds.
