Arajet Celebrates 2 Years with Fares

ULCC Arajet from the Dominican Republic is celebrating its second anniversary with fares that start at $2 each way (without taxes) and applies to the 23 destinations in the 16 countries where it operates, as well as to the more than 200 combinations of connections it offers.

This special rate will be available from September 1 to 15, with limited number of seats on each flight for travel from October 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.

“Arajet is celebrating this anniversary and we are happy to rejoice it with the people,” said Pacheco Méndez, Arajet’s CEO and founder.   “We believe in the democratization of the skies, so that no one is left without flying; we will continue to expand on the continent by increasing our network of destinations, frequencies and fleet of aircraft.”

Mendez says Arajet’s goal is to make travel more accessible, eliminating the economic barriers that have historically restricted air mobility for some. The promotion is a thank you to the more than 1.3 million passengers served by the airline so far.

In just two years, Arajet has broken all the records of passengers flown for an airline in the Dominican Republic, with a fleet of 10 Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, one of the most modern and efficient in the world. In addition, it is the second airline that carries the most passengers at Las Americas International Airport and was recognized as the best new airline in the world at the 2023 CAPA Awards.
