A-State in CFL: 2024 Week 5

Justin McInnis (BC wide receiver)

– 4 catches, 49 yards on Friday 6/28. Lions beat Edmonton 24-21. McInnis for the season has 21 catches for 338 yards and two touchdowns.

Kyle Wilson (Hamilton linebacker)

– Recorded 6 tackles on Friday. Tiger-Cats fell to Ottawa 24-22. He has 27 tackles so far this season.

Cody Grace (Calgary punter)

– Cody Grace put 3 points on the board thanks to the most unique way to score points in the CFL. A rouge is when a team punts and the receiving team does not get in the ball out of the end zone. One of those was after an 81 yard punt. Grace pulled off 3 rouges as Calgary beat Winnipeg 22 – 19 in Week 4.

Melique Straker (Saskatchewan linebacker)

– He had a tackle as Saskatchewan beat Toronto 30 – 23. Straker has 4 special teams tackles on the season. The Roughriders are 4 and oh.

Money Hunter (Ottawa defensive back)

– Hunter had six tackles against Montreal in a losing effort in Week 3. For the season he has 10 tackles.
