A-State in CFL: 2024 Week 1
Justin McInnis (BC wide receiver)
– 7 catches, 103 yards, 1 TD on Sunday. Lions fell to Toronto 35-27. McInnis records his 4th 100 yard receiving game in his career, he had 2 in the 2023 season.
Kyle Wilson (Hamilton linebacker)
– Recorded 5 tackles on Friday. Tiger-Cats fell to Calgary 32-24. He had 15 total stops in the 2023 season.
Cody Grace (Calgary punter)
– Averaged 51 yards on 3 punts on Friday. The Stampeders beat Hamilton 32-24. His longest was a 56 yard punt in the 1st quarter. Grace
Melique Straker (Saskatchewan linebacker)
– Recorded 2 special teams tackles on Saturday. The Roughriders beat Edmonton 29-21. Straker is in his rookie season, he was selected in the 4th Round of the 2024 CFL Draft.
Money Hunter (Ottawa defensive back)
– BYE in Week 1. RedBlacks will face Winnipeg on Thursday, June 13th. Hunter is in his 3rd season with Ottawa, he had 11 tackles in 4 games in 2023.
