The University of Saskatchewan Huskies Football team continue training camp in preparation for Week 1 next weekend. Saskatchewan begins the regular season on the road on Saturday, August 31st against the Manitoba Bisons, with kickoff at 1 p.m. The Huskies first home game is on Friday, September 13th when they host the Calgary Dinos with kickoff at 7 p.m. from Griffiths Stadium.

The 13th event of the 2024 Saskatoon Stock Car Racing Association season at the Sutherland Automotive Speedway goes tonight. Racing in the Sportsmen, Pro-Late Models, and Run-Your-Junk divisions starts at 6 p.m. with gates open to the public at 4 p.m.
