France vs. Canada men’s basketball friendly GameThread

Today, the France men’s national basketball team will host Canada in a FIBA friendly in Orleans. Not New Orleans. ORLÉANS. It’s a city about 75 southwest of Paris. The OG Orléans was where Joan of Arc played a significant role in the Siege of Orléans in 1428-29.

Tip off is at 3 p.m. ET, or 9 p.m. locally.

The Canucks are expected to be one of the top teams in the Olympic men’s basketball tournament. With multiple All-Stars including Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Toronto Raptors forward RJ Barrett and Raptors center Kelly Olynyk headlining the roster, the Canadians could be the team to beat in Lille! After all, Team USA has some abuelos for professional player terms on there like the son of the GOAT of Hokie men’s basketball and Bronny’s daddy. Google up for those guys’ more common names.

Anyway, let’s see how Washington Wizards guard Bilal Coulibaly does. He’s why I wrote this up.

And last but not least, you can watch this game online at the NBA’s YouTube channel. C’EST MAGNIFIQUE !

ALLEZ LES BLEUS!
