Golf Saskatchewan’s second set of provincial amateur championships continues today and runs through Friday with the 105th Saskatchewan Women’s Amateur and Women’s Mid-Amateur, plus the 113th Saskatchewan Men’s Amateur and Men’s Mid-Amateur events being contested at the Royal Regina Golf Club. Both women’s championships and the men’s mid-amateur are playing the second of three rounds today while men’s amateur is playing the second of four rounds today. The first tee time is 7 a.m. today with a total of 160 players taking part and spots in national championships on the line.

The World Baseball and Softball Congress (W-B-S-C) Men’s Fastpitch-Softball World Cup Group B qualifying tournament starts today and runs through Sunday in Prince Albert. Six national teams are taking part in the round-robin plus playoffs format – Canada, New Zealand, Argentina, Israel, Singapore and Hing Kong. Canada has already qualified for the 2025 World Cup final, also being hosted by Prince Albert, with one other team qualifying. On today’s schedule…
