Marsh was also very disgruntled after the opening game of the tournament against Argentina because an official had failed to call a foul on the edge of the penalty area when Lisandro Martinez had brought down Shaffelburg.

“That’s a foul. Just call the foul,” Marsch said in his press conference. “Just call it foul. And then you can decide later, is it outside the box or is it inside the box? But it’s a foul. It’s 100 percent a foul. But the reason he didn’t call the foul was because he was worried it might be penalty.”
