Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), a prominent provider of software and technology for the global travel sector, recently announced the renewal of its contract with Canadian North, an entirely Inuit-owned airline in Canada. This renewal extends the use of Sabre’s SabreSonic Passenger Service System (PSS) and introduces two innovative solutions aimed at boosting sales conversions and enhancing revenue predictions.
The SabreSonic PSS is a comprehensive system utilized by numerous airlines worldwide, aiding Canadian North in its ongoing efforts to improve customer experiences and seize additional revenue possibilities.
“Canadian North and Sabre are long term business partners. Throughout the years Sabre has supported Canadian North’s ambitions to grow in a strategic way by increasing efficiencies using technology solutions, while making life better in the communities we serve,” said Claudio Silvestri, Chief Information Officer, Canadian North.
Alongside the SabreSonic PSS, Canadian North will implement two new airline IT solutions:
- Travel Bank, which offers airlines a versatile method for handling payments for tickets and additional services while managing costs and enhancing customer interactions.
- Revenue Integrity, an automated system that detects and eliminates inefficient or fraudulent bookings from an airline’s inventory, freeing up seats to be sold to legitimate customers.
“SabreSonic helps provide robust foundation for Canadian North’s ticketing, automation, revenue generation and ability to add ancillaries seamlessly,” said Darren Rickey, Senior Vice President Airline Sales and Account Management, Sabre Travel Solutions. “The partnership indicates a strong relationship built on positive results and continuity that benefits Canadian North customers.”
Sabre Corporation specializes in tackling the most significant challenges and seizing the largest opportunities in the travel industry.
Canadian North, wholly owned by Inuit, provides vital connectivity and transportation of essential goods across Northern Canada, focusing on safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service.
