Approximately 200-300 eager shoppers, with some lining up before the mall’s opening, came to Oakville Place on Saturday to witness the grand opening of the new Mark’s store, formerly known as Mark’s Work Wearhouse, according to store staff.
This will be the second Mark’s location in Oakville, replacing the former location at 3487 Wyecroft Road which has been permanently closed since 2022.
Following a brief soft launch, Saturday, April 13, 2024, marked the official opening of Mark’s, owned by the Canadian Tire Group of Companies, at Oakville Place Mall, located at 240 Leighland Avenue.
The new store has a very large selection of clothing with designated men’s and women’s sections. To commemorate its grand opening, the store rolled out limited-time deals, including a buy-one-get-one 50% off offer.
Mark’s, carries clothing from popular brands such as Levi’s, Columbia, Timberland, Carhartt, Helly Hansen and more.
Operating hours for Mark’s at Oakville Place are as follows:
- Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Sunday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
